Days 119-130 - Panama City, Panama to Bogota, Colombia - 19,478 km
We thought we'd give you a break from my weekly attempt at being literary and try something new. So this time it's a video blog! We thought it might be a fun way to tell the story and let us share more of the so many fantastic photos and videos that we've taken from the road (thanks GoPro!) We hope you enjoy and please let us know what you think. Don't be afraid to leave us a comment or drop us a line by email.

Nice to hear your voices. Be careful for those slick roads in Colombia. The painted school zones are what Megan slipped on.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you aren't going to Medallin but if you do, we know some riders just south of there who would love to go on a ride with you and take you out for a very Colombian day in coffee country.
Also, the firefighters in Popayan (south of Cali) are quite the team. Not sure if you want to be "held hostage" by hospitality or not, but look up Henry at the Bomberos on Popayan. He and his family are above and beyond friendly. Let me know if you want his contact information.
Enjoy Colombia. The combination of the friendliest people of the whole trip, the availability of coffee, and the stunning scenery made it one of my favorite countries to travel through.

Hey Marshall,
ReplyDeleteThanks for offering the contacts. I'm late on the draw but if you know anyone in Ecuador or further south... Hope the three of you are doing well.
